Asbestos Awareness Material Handling

One day Category 2 Training is for those who are likely to handle materials outside the scope of licensing. That is ‘sporadic and low intensity’ work unlikely to produce elevated fibre levels. The training features a half day theory session to cover the standard AA syllabus, plus a short multiple choice assessment paper. The afternoon session covers all elements of practical training, including safe fitting and removal of mask and overalls, bagging of wastes and, where necessary, safe construction of a decontamination airlock.
