Training can be half a day or 1 full day, depending upon the course components selected and the number of course delegates attending.

Asbestos Awareness training is useful for maintenance workers such as plumbers, electricians and builders, likely to come across asbestos in the process of their work. Training would give such
candidates a safe working knowledge of the appropriate actions to take upon encountering asbestos.

Asbestos Awareness Training is for candidates requiring a basic, general awareness of the dangers associated with asbestos and protective measures taken to ensure safety against it.
Asbestos Awareness training involves the study of nine core theory components with additional specialist course components available, depending upon your company needs. The basic components provide information that is applicable to all personnel requiring asbestos awareness. The specialist components are specific to trade and work situations.

• Work Methods - Maintenance Personnel
• Scaffold Erection Asbestos Awareness
• Scaffold Supervisor / Manager
• Asbestos Removal (Basic Requirements & Procedures)
• Asbestos Removal -Plan of Work & Notification
• Client - Management of Contract
Experience Required: None
On successful completion of a multiple choice exam paper, candidates receive an ACAD training certificate.
