Awareness Begins at Home

ACAD attended the North East Business Roadshow on Friday 4th September 2009 at the Darlington Football Stadium which had over 150 exhibitors and nearly 500 visitors.

Both the Membership & Publications Co-ordinator, Georgina Key and the ACAD Training Co-ordinator, Ann Lineton attended this new event with the intention to promote our asbestos awareness and removal training facilities as well as the Association and its Membership.

There were various fellow exhibitors ranging from Insurance Brokers to Chocolate Makers! ACAD were the only exhibitor of its kind with many visitors taking notice of the asbestos awareness banners and HSE leaflets.

The football stadium proved to be a popular and successful venue for the Roadshow which gave ACAD the opportunity to promote the asbestos training to businesses and the public within the local area - where better to start than on your door-step?

Thank you to all those who visited the stand: look out for us on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th October at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton for the next Health & Safety Exhibition!
